Puzzle Design Challenge

The problem I had to solve was I had to design, build, test, document, and present a 3-D puzzle system that is made from scrap of hardwood cubes a manufacturing company throws away and is resulting in sizeable loss of profit. The given constrains of the problem were the puzzle must contain 5 pieces and each piece can only have 6 cubes, each cube must be 3/4". Also, no two pieces can be the same and some pieces must interlock.
In order to solve the problem first I needed to design the puzzle pieces and check for a solution to the problem. Then, I had to build each puzzle piece and color code them. Finally, I tested to check if the puzzle pieces had all the requirements.
What I really liked about the project was that it was really challenging and also that I had to use my imagination. One thing I would change about the project would be the cutting of the cubes because we wasted to much time doing that. Finally, the most challenging thing that I had to do in this project was design each puzzle piece with the given constraints.
